Having practised in international law firms and within the wealth management division of a major international private bank, Dan has been able to develop and strengthen his expertise in both domestic and international transactions.
His recognised practice covers the following areas in particular:
- Legal and tax structuring of private and professional assets
- Inheritance tax planning
- International successions
- Transfer of tax residence (within or outside France)
- Structuring of property investments for residents and non-residents
- Remuneration of directors and managers (shares/options, AGA, deferred remuneration)
- Regularisation of assets held outside France (Switzerland, Israel, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, etc.)
- Taxation of trusts, fiduciaries, foundations and foreign companies
- Assistance with the preparation of tax returns (income tax, property wealth tax, inheritance tax return, 3% tax, etc.)
Dan holds a DESS (postgraduate diploma) in business law and taxation from the University of Paris I La Sorbonne – in partnership with HEC’s law and taxation specialisation.
Dan is also a member of the Institute of Tax Lawyers and Advisers (IACF).
